Simon Mignolet is expected to sign for Liverpool this week, in a deal which is looking to be worth 11million pounds. With Mignolet on 2 years left on his deal, Sunderland have agreed to cash in on the keeper, who told Sunderland officials that he wouldn't sign a new deal. So Liverpool have decided to make there move for the Belgium international. There has been rumors that as Mignolet is coming in Reina is been forced out, but Reina is welcoming the competition. Mignolet has won the POTY award at Sunderland this year Mignolet pass completion is 45% to Reina's 71% but Mignolet's wins the saves made with him getting 96% and then Reina having 89%. Mignolet has made 2 mistakes which have lead to 2 goals, Reina has made 4 mistakes which have lead to 6 goals. Reina has made 86% in Aerial duels with Mignolet's 75% and, the passing stats are 71% to Mignolet's 45%. Maybe Rodgers is looking at Mignolet to be a long term replacement for Reina?
